Welcome to our Puppy Foundations Course! This program is designed to set a strong start for your puppy’s development by focusing on essential skills and creating a positive foundation for lifelong learning. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll cover:

  1. Communication: Establishing effective communication with your puppy is crucial for a harmonious relationship. We’ll guide you through techniques to clearly convey your intentions using vocal cues, body language, and positive reinforcement. Understanding how to communicate effectively helps build trust and ensures your puppy learns to respond to your guidance.
  2. Solving Common Puppy Struggles: Puppies often face challenges such as chewing, house training, and biting. We’ll provide practical strategies and solutions for these common issues, helping you address and manage them proactively. By understanding the root causes of these behaviors, you’ll learn how to redirect and manage them effectively.
  3. Appropriate Socialisation: Socialisation is key to helping your puppy grow into a well-adjusted adult dog. We’ll focus on introducing your puppy to various people, environments, and other dogs in a controlled and positive manner. Proper socialisation helps build confidence and reduces the likelihood of behavioral issues in the future.
  4. Capturing Desired Behaviors: Capturing involves recognizing and rewarding naturally occurring positive behaviors in your puppy. We’ll teach you how to identify and reinforce these spontaneous actions to encourage good habits. This approach helps your puppy learn what behaviors are desirable and fosters a positive learning experience.

Throughout the course, we emphasize patience, positivity, and creating a fun learning environment. Our goal is to help you and your puppy develop a strong bond and a positive outlook on learning. We look forward to supporting you in setting the stage for a well-behaved and happy adult dog!
